SUSAN GETS A MAKEOVER
Susan Boyle the winner of Britain Got Talent has changed her look. According to daily express fashion team Susan’s look has cost her 100 pond. She has worn a top from Monsoon, polyester trouser from Evan, a pair of leather shoes and a fake Burberry scarf. If she wins a Sony record deal she will afford the real Burberry scarf. She has changed her hair and eyebrows as well. Her makeover comes after she promised that she will never change her look. The producers are unhappy about her change.
Reflection
This is just amazing that some ordinary person suddenly become famous. Susan is 40 years old and has never got a normal life. She lost her parents at very young age and has never got a partner and love in her life, but she never gave up, as she said in her interview she dreamed a dream and now her dream become true. Her success is a big lesson for everyone, everyone should learn to fight for his/her dreams and never give up. She will be always an example for me. I have learned to search my talents and never say that I am too old for doing something special.
Good article - but what do you think of the transformation? Do you think people have to look "acceptable' acccording to our "standards"? This is all about image, really.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you on the your point 'chasing your dream' and make it come true. She really is a very good example for other people. But I don't think she had to change, Susan was a normal woman who got famous and now she has a new look, just because everyone said she had a weird hairdo and all these things. I agree with Stephanie, this IS all about image.
ReplyDeleteI believe that Susan shows that it is never too late to make your dreams come treu. I think it is amazing that a woman at her age goes trough a big transformation like this, and hey if she likes it, why not! Being a normal woman does not mean she has to have a weird hairdo. I believe if she looks good and is happy what she is seing in the mirror she would be more confidant. So image or no image looking good is never bad!
ReplyDeleteIt is good to chase your own dream, but was it really necessary for her to have this transformation? For who did she do this transformation? I do not believe she should do it. I do not agree with Elif because in your eyes she does look good now but in her own eyes she already did. I believe she just changed herself to fit better with the image she has.
